"I am outraged!" Jervis exclaimed, pointing a finger at the TV. "Simply outraged! Why, I have half a mind to write a letter to whomever wrote this programme!"
"And half a mind's all you ever have, Jervis," Jonathan commented dryly. "Really, no need to get up in arms over this."
"And whom, may I remind, was fuming over this same channel's remake of the Wizard of Oz? Who, as I recall, was upset over his 'archetype of fear being forever associated with some effeminate zipperhead'? I have every right to my rage now as you did to yours then."
Jonathan sighed, putting his head in his hands. "And what is it, exactly, that you object to?"
"He's scruffy."
"Scruffy?"
"Yes! Unkempt, disheveled, scruffy! Not a proper way at all for a hatter to look. And his hat….don't get me started on that undersized wisp of a hat. A hatter should have a proper hat! A noble hat!"
"A hat like yours, perhaps?"
"Precisely!"
Jonathan facepalmed. "I assure you, Jervis, that the perception of hatters is unlikely to be affected by this program. It's mostly geeks who watch this channel, anyway, as evidenced by the person who recommended it to us: Eddie. Now stop pacing and sit down!" He grabbed the back of the shorter man's shirt and pulled him back onto the couch.
Jervis sighed. "Oh, I suppose…I just can't help but feel…miffed at such slander. Then again, that aside, it is a lovely program. The actor playing the white knight was quite good…and the idea of teas that produced emotions…." He rubbed his hands together with glee. "Just think of all the ideas this could spark!"
And again, Jonathan sighed. This was going to be a veeeery long night…

Fought. Twiddler+Jon/Jervis
Eddie looked through the window of his and Harvey’s shared cell and smiled, “Looks like they’re fighting again,” he said smugly, an almost evil tone to his voice. He loved it when Jon and Jervis fought, because he and Harvey never fought, and it was so nice to be better at something, especially something as complex as a relationship.
“Do you think they’ll last much longer?” he asked as he turned to Harvey, who was lounging on the bed, reading a book, looking god damn pretty.
Harvey nodded, not taking his eyes from his book, “I think they will.”

Fear and Madness
It was surprisingly quiet in Professor Crane's home, considering a certain guest had come over, ranting about how long it had been since they had shared a pot of tea.
Jonathan Crane looked up for a moment from the various chemicals he had scattered across the counter of his workspace and glanced over his thin shoulders at the sofa beyond the doorway. He was mildly surprised when he saw the familiar sandy-colored hair peeking around the back of the sofa. More than that, however, he was a bit irked. Jervis Tetch was showing a remarkable amount of patience today

An ache in his shoulders...a throbbing pain in his head...a pressure against the right side of his body...darkness. Blue eyes slowly began to flutter open as Jervis Tetch started to come to, emerging from an unexpected loss of consciousness. He drew a breath and held it for a moment as his eyes closed again. He released the breath when he tried to bring his arms forward, only to find his wrists were tied together behind his back. His fingers went over what was binding his wrists, expecting to feel metal.
His eyes sluggishly opened again when he felt a twisted rope tied around his wrists. His vision was sti

Awe man. It shows how out of touch I am with the tv world. I don't normally watch television, but I'm positive without even seeing the show, this is how he'd act. (Hmm...I don't think he'd like the Tim Burton one either.) I love all your stories!
